Campground Sites

There are seven excellent campgrounds along the banks of beautiful Rend Lake in Southern Illinois. Campsites in the Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park are managed by the state of Illinois. All the other campgrounds are managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers. Campsites vary from primitive sites for tent campers to modern sites with electrical and sanitary hookups. Prices start at just $6 per night.

Camp on the banks of the Big Sur River among giant Coastal Redwood trees. This family-oriented campground has tent cabins as well as fully-equipped cabins with kitchens and fireplaces. You can also bring your own tent or RV.
